Day 1: Lima / Iquitos, navigating through Amazon River
Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Iquitos.
Transfer by land from the airport.
9:30am we depart by road and river to the lodge.
Jungle excursion to observe the enormous variety of flora.
Observation of the Leoncito (Pygmy Monkey).
Sunset on the lake Sapote.
Nocturnal excursion by boat to see caimans and nocturnal birds and mammals
Day 2: Iquitos
Excursion to swim in the Amazon River and watch pink and gray dolphins.
Observation of Victoria Regia, the largest aquatic plant in the world.
Observation of iguanas.
Piranha fishing.
Authentic visit to San Juan de Yanayacu’s village.
Night walk in search of huge tarantulas and frogs
Day 3: Iquitos (B, L, D)
Boat excursion to Juanachi or Moena lagoon looking for different species of birds and monkeys.
Excursion specializing in local medicinal plants.
Canoe excursion to listen to the jungle at night.
Day 4: Iquitos / Lima (B, L)
Excursion by boat to a lagoon of difficult access.
Registration of animals in the biodiversity booklet with your guide.
At 1:00 pm return to the airport or hotel. Arrival at 4:00 pm approximately.
