At the scheduled time, approximately at 04:30 am, we will go to your hotel to pick you up and drive to the beautiful Humantay Lake. On the way we will pass through different villages, farmhouses up to the town of Limatambo, from this point we will ascend to the town of Mollepata. At this village, we will have breakfast and lunch. After enjoying our local breakfast, we will continue our journey by van to Soraypampa, during the trip the guide will provide information about flora, fauna and customs of the place.
Arriving to Soraypampa, the starting point for the hike, our guide will explain the correct way to walk at high altitudes, the time and the distance. He will also provide you with walking sticks for better performance. The hike lasts between an hour and an hour and a half approximately to the beautiful Humantay Lake. Here we can appreciate the beautiful scenery and the breathtaking view of the snow-capped peaks of Humantay and Salkantay. After a short rest, we will return by the same route to Soraypampa, we will take our transportation and return to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch and then return to the city of Cusco, but not before visiting the archaeological site of Tarawasi and Killarumiyoq. Transfer to the hotel in Cusco.
